Shuttles and Buses from and to Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG)

Charles de Gaulle Airport is well connected to Paris and the surrounding suburbs by bus. While the premium Le Bus Direct service no longer operates, CDG still offers plenty of reliable and affordable options through RATP routes, night buses, and intercity coaches. In addition, dedicated shuttles serve popular attractions such as Disneyland and Parc Astérix.

Our Tip: Besides public routes to Paris, CDG has its own internal shuttle network. Free N1 and N2 buses help passengers move around Terminal 2, while color-coded shuttles support certain terminal connections for transfers. Hotel shuttles (often identified by color, e.g., black/pink/blue) link the airport with nearby accommodation zones.

RoissyBus: the Most Popular Shuttle from CDG to Paris

RoissyBus is the dedicated RATP airport bus connecting Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport with Opéra in central Paris. It runs every day, including Sundays and public holidays, and the ride typically takes about 60 minutes depending on traffic.

If you want a cheaper bus alternative (but slower and with no dedicated luggage storage), you can use the two main RATP local routes from CDG.

Bus 350 (CDG → Porte de la Chapelle)
  • Operating hours: 06:05 – 22:30 (daily, including holidays)
  • Frequency: every 15–35 minutes
  • Duration: about 70 minutes (many intermediate stops)
Bus 351 (CDG → Paris Nation)
  • Operating hours: 07:00 – 21:37
  • Frequency: every 15–30 minutes
  • Duration: about 80 minutes (many intermediate stops)

Our Tip 2: If you need East Paris suburbs, you can also use Seine-et-Marne Express 19 from Roissypôle (typically every 30–60 minutes, around 60 minutes to Torcy).

Night Buses (Noctilien) from CDG

Landing late? The Noctilien network connects CDG with Paris and northern suburbs overnight.

  • N140: approx. 01:00 – 04:00 (about hourly), ~100 minutes to Gare de l’Est
  • N143: approx. 00:02 – 04:32 (every ~30 minutes), ~60 minutes to Gare de l’Est

Long-distance Coaches from CDG

If your destination is outside Paris, long-distance bus operators (for example, FlixBus, BlaBlaCar Bus, and others) run routes from CDG to various French cities and international destinations. Most coaches depart from Roissypôle Bus Station, located between Aéroport Charles de Gaulle 1 and the T3 CDGVAL station.

Special Shuttle Buses from CDG

Magical Shuttle (CDG → Disneyland Paris)

The Magical Shuttle is a dedicated coach to Disneyland Paris, stopping at several Disney hotels on the way.

  • Operating hours: approx. 09:00 – 18:20 (daily)
  • Frequency: typically every 20–90 minutes (varies by stop/terminal)
  • Duration: about 60 minutes
  • Tickets: 24€ adult / 11€ child (2–12) / free for 0–2

Stops at CDG:

  • T1 (near Exit 32)
  • T2E/T2F (Arrivals area)

Tip: If you arrive at T2G, use the free N2 shuttle to reach T2F. Buses from T1 are usually less frequent than from T2.

Parc Astérix Shuttle

Parc Astérix is around 20 minutes from CDG. The dedicated shuttle usually departs from Roissypôle and operates only when the park is open.

  • Departure point: Roissypôle (Platform 3)
  • Frequency: about every 30 minutes (during operating window)
  • Operating hours: from ~08:45 until ~30 minutes before park closing
  • Tickets: 11€ round trip (adult), 6€ one-way, free under 3

Tickets are typically sold at the park’s dedicated desk in Roissypôle (cash or card). The ticket office often operates in the morning window (for example, around 08:10 – 12:45).

RoissyBus Tickets

A one-way RoissyBus ticket costs 16.60€. You can buy it:

  • onboard (contactless payment is usually available)
  • online or via the official mobile app
  • at RATP counters and ticket machines at CDG (T1 and T2 areas)

Travel passes are also valid on RoissyBus, including Paris Visite (zones 1–5 for airport travel) and Navigo options (depending on what you load and which zones you cover).

Paris Visite (zones 1–5): unlimited travel across Metro/RER/SNCF buses/trams within the selected zones (including airports, Disneyland, Versailles). It must be filled in (name + dates) and validated on each ride. Children (4–11) typically get a discount.

Navigo options (overview):

  • Navigo Easy: anonymous smart card (2€), can be loaded with t+ tickets and day tickets
  • Navigo Day Ticket: unlimited travel for the chosen day (zone-dependent pricing)
  • Navigo Découverte: personal card (5€) requiring name + photo
  • Navigo Week Pass: unlimited travel for a Monday–Sunday week (zones 1–5 option commonly used for airports)

Tip: Digital/Navigo pricing for RoissyBus is often lower than the onboard single ticket price.

Local Buses 350/351 and Noctilien Tickets

Local bus lines (350/351) typically cost 2.50€ per ride. Noctilien night buses (N140/N143) typically cost 4.30€. Tickets can be purchased onboard (cash in many cases), online, or at airport rail stations. Paris Visite and Navigo products may also be valid depending on the ticket/pass type and zones.
